Oregon ASC Completion Informational Meetings (Fall 2018)

The Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) and Idaho Power are holding a series of informational meetings on Idaho Power’s completed Application for Site Certificate (ASC) in October 2018. The meetings will provide attendees information about the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Commission (EFSC) process and Idaho Power's ASC.
Idaho Power will be available to answer questions about their proposed project as well as how the company works with landowners regarding project micrositing, design, and right of way acquisition. The meetings will provide stakeholders information relevant to future hearings on the Draft Proposed Order.
The meetings will take the format of presentations followed by a question and answer segment. Topics for discussion include:
- The EFSC process and current status
- Contents of the ASC
- Future public involvement opportunities in the EFSC process
- Idaho Power's process for working with landowners
The informational meetings are not public hearings and will not include public testimony or on-the-record public comments.
