PROJECT MAPS

The maps below illustrate the proposed project.

Final EIS Routes, including Preliminary Agency Preferred Alternative (2016)

The routes under evaluation for inclusion in the Final EIS include a preliminary agency preferred alternative, which differs from the one identified in the Draft EIS. The BLM is sharing its current thinking about the preliminary agency preferred alternative now in order to provide stakeholders with an update on the status of the EIS and to provide information allowing further coordination with the Oregon Energy Facility Siting process, which is currently underway.

This announcement does not represent a final decision, nor the start of a public comment period. The preliminary agency preferred alternative is still under review and may be subject to change. No final federal decision will be made on the project until the Record of Decision is issued, following the Final EIS release (anticipated in late summer 2016).
